Miss E’s Ballet Boudoir Session

The beautiful Miss E came into the studio to do a fun boudoir session for her special man who was off serving with the military overseas. She was so excited to do something special for him, and we had so much fun! She brought a girlfriend along with her for the shoot to encourage her and cheer her on. I think Miss E’s exact words were that she isn’t sexy at all. Uhm, I have no idea where she got that from, because she is stunning!
She brought along a jersey for his favorite football team, always a fun way to make it personal! She also brought her favorite lingerie and a pair of toe shoes! Ballet meets boudoir – excellent!
Thank you again, Miss E for being SO awesome to work with! I look forward to seeing you again soon! Maybe for the wedding day? (When her boyfriend got back stateside, he proposed!)

Miss K’s Boudoir Session – Houston Boudoir Photography

Miss K is having a destination wedding at the end of the year, and decided to surprise her sweetie with a boudoir album full of awesome, yummy goodness! She was gracious enough to give me permission to share a few of our favorites! We did a session at the studio, and had such a great time!
In Miss K’s own words – from a comment she left over at the wedding photography site, “Christine just shot my boudoir shoot and it was AMAZING!!! She made me feel SO comfortable…and the pictures are beautiful; very “soft and sweet” yet sexy. Thanks Christine!!”
I just loved that she incorporated things that she knows he loves into the session. They are both fans of the Buffalo Bills, so she brought a jersey along, he loves the red shoes she is wearing, so she was sure to include them, and he plays soccer, so she brought a soccer jersey as well!
Aren’t those shoes awesome? They are her shoes for her wedding day! I love the purple – they are going to be such a gorgeous accent! Thank you again to Miss K for such an awesome, fun session!

The White Sheet Sessions!

In the past year of Boudoir sessions, I’ve discovered that some of my absolute favorite photos are the most simple, the most pure – ones that involve nothing more than a white sheet or towel. No outfits. Just beauty. (Makeup in the above photo by Jennifer Aronson.)
In honor of this, I’ve decided to add a White Sheet Session to my package lineup!
THE WHITE SHEET SESSION
1 hour photo shoot at the studio in the Heights. No outfits photographed – just a white sheet.
Your choice of one of the following:
20 page coffee table book, 8×10 or 10×10 in size, in our artistic layout of one image per page to showcase your beauty, with a leather cover; OR
DVD of all proofs from your session with a print release.** (Note: no special retouching will be done to the images.)
Options available to upgrade your album to the top of the line albums that we offer, to add more pages to your book, digital files of magazine retouched images or prints.
Special Price:
$400 for album -or- the DVD with print release (normally $800)
$500 for album -AND- the DVD with print release (normally $1000)
This is just in time for the Holiday 2009 boudoir season! Yes, I realize Christmas is 6 months away, but why not take advantage of that beach body you’ve been working on now? These specials are in effect until the end of September, 2009.

I will be traveling to Atlanta, Georgia and Savannah, Georgia in late June, and New Orleans, Louisiana in mid-August – let me know if you would like to set up a session in one of these cities while I’m there!

** Full proof DVDs are available for sale at an a la carte price of $300.
*** Once you select the images to have retouched, it will take up to 2 weeks to prepare the DVD of files for you.
Please note: It can take up to 2-3 weeks for the proofing of a session, and once images are selected for printing, it can take up to 2-3 weeks for delivery of albums, prints or DVDs. Be sure to plan accordingly! Rush times are available, please check to make sure I can make your date and inquire about the Rush delivery rate.
Holiday Deadlines: The session deadline for guaranteed for Christmas delivery is Thursday, November 19, and all orders must be received by December 5, 2009 for the holiday deadline. Orders placed between December 6 and December 12 will incur a 50% rush fee. Orders placed after December 13 can not be guaranteed for Christmas delivery.
Ms. E’s Maternity Session – Boudoir Inspired Photography, Houston TX

I’ve been offering boudoir sessions for eight months now, and in that time I’ve had a lot of sessions that are somehow related to babies — several of my clients have talked about how they are trying to get pregnant. One of my clients was just a few days pregnant when we did her session – she didn’t even know it yet. Ms. E came to me shortly after she found out she was pregnant and asked if she could do a boudoir session because she wanted to capture how she looked before her baby was born.
I immediately asked her if she would be willing to pose for me when she was closer to her due date, and I was thrilled when she agreed! For a long time, I didn’t get maternity photography. Why would anyone want that? Then I realized, in part thanks to my AMAZING boudoir clients, that every single woman is beautiful. Pregnant women truly do radiate a special light though. They are just stunning.
Ms. E called me when she reached the 30 week mark and we set up a session time. It worked out that the only day that we were both free was right after the open house this weekend, so we pulled out all the stops on Sunday and did our shoot.
We had such a great time. I joked that in the future, I need to set up a “Bootie to Belly to Baby” package, photographing boudoir through maternity and then the newborn session too. Oh, who am I kidding – it wasn’t a joke. I’ve already got dibs on her newborn photos! I can’t wait for the baby to arrive in a few weeks! (You’ll have to watch for her over on the regular blog.)

Sneak Peeks Waiting to be Unwrapped – Houston Boudoir Photography

I have so many fabulous photos to share! But I can’t share them until after Christmas, as I don’t want to ruin the holiday surprises! There are some fabulous albums waiting under trees to be unwrapped!
Matter of fact, our holiday specials were so well received, I’m going to extend them through Valentine’s Day! There are just a few weekend sessions left, plus weekday sessions as well. Not in Houston? I’ll travel anywhere for very reasonable rates. Gather up your friends and you can split the travel costs!
